Understanding E-Rate

E-rate funding is available for services offered by American Data Technology, Inc. such as erate web hosting, erate exchange hosting erate email services under Priority one - Internet access category. Our SPIN number is 143026382.

E-rate allows Schools and Libraries in the US and territories to receive discount from 20-90% of the eligible services. Discounts for applicants are based on the percentage of students eligible for the National School Lunch Program.

The Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) administers the Universal Service Fund (USF) as governed by The Federal Communication Commission (FCC). School and Libraries Division (SLD) is responsible for administering the erate program.

Who's Eligible?

Schools: All elementary and secondary schools as defined within the Elementary and Secondary Education Act are covered. Private schools are eligible as long as they are not operated as a for-profit business and do not have an endowment exceeding $50 million. Individual schools, school districts and consortia are eligible applicants.

Libraries: Public libraries as defined in the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) are also eligible. This includes individual library branches, library facilities, library systems and library consortia.
