ADTI takes a proactive approach to monitoring. ADTI currently operates several different levels of monitoring services for its internal infrastructure, as well as for its customers’ servers, for example: |

A collection of automated network wide monitoring tools installed inside ADTI’s network check every server every 5 minutes for various items, such as ping, http, pop3, smtp, etc. depending on that individual server’s function. The tools are also capable of performing application level checks if needed (e.g. perform a URL fetch to a dynamic page, and pass or fail on the presence or absence of a specified string). The tools are capable of generating alarms which are annunciated on the NOC workstations as well as on cell phone pagers carried by every tech.

External third party monitoring services such as Keynote, RedAlert etc. to monitor key points in ADTI’s infrastructure from several different geographical locations across the globe, to flag critical reachability issues. |
